Hi.I have 5guinea pigs 2male and 3female.I have seperated the 2males and have the 3girls together the oldest girl is Millie shes 1yrs old and pregnet with 3babys and having them anyday now.She has had babys before when she was 6mths old with 2twin albino female guinea pigs 1was stillborn.She is the most heathlyest guinea pig ive ever had and I what to know if it is safe to breed her? I have cared for lots of pregnet guinea pigs and know how care for them I know he dangers of pregnancys though researching.I do think that she is ok to breed she has never been sick.But I want to ask if you think she is ok o brred?.from kathleen

Hi Kathleen,

Millie sounds fine for breeding. As you said she has already had a pregnancy before her pelvic bones fussed together, and she is still young and healthy. So yes she is fine for breeding, just remember not to breed her past the age of 3 as then she is getting a little to old for breading.

I see no reason why it isn't safe to breed her and you sound like you are completely ready for this and Millie sounds like she is in perfect health and ready to have this next bunch of kids.
