back legs immobile?

Question
We have had our "Little G" since the spring. She seems to have always been in good health. The last 2 days she has become immobile in her back end, not using her back legs. She doesn't seem to be in any pain. She has also begun making wheezing noises. I doubt these are related, but I don't know. I hope you can help us - I fear for Little G.

Answer
Hi Beverley

If the only problem was the back legs I would have suggested that the problem was a kind of paralysis that can be treated with extra calcium. However, as there is a secondary problem also with the wheezng, please consult your vet as it sounds like she also has a chest infection.
