Guinea pig trouble---again!

Question
Hi
About a month ago my guinea pig was diagnosed with mange mites. I was so excited when it cleared up and his hair grew back. Today I was playing with him and I noticed he had some dandruff on the lower part of his back and then some hairs started falling out. I am SERIOUSLY worried that he has it again. If he does I can not go back to the vet because it was kinda expensive and I dont have the money for something like that and I already owe my dad money for that visit. If he does have mange mites is there ANY other way to cure it? I've searched all over google and a lot of people say to use something called horse ivermectin..but I'm kinda afraid and I dont know where to buy it.

I hope you can help me and I would greatly appreciate it. I know that it said you live in the U.K., well I live in the U.S. so hopefully you can tell me some websites where they sell a product to help my guinea pig =)

Thanks so much!,

Answer
IVERMECTIN is what you need, have you tried asking the vets or pet shops for it??
Try that!
Then use plenty of pet disinfectant spray on your piggie, clean him out regularly and possibly brush and bath him as much as you can.
this site is from the UK, but its exactly what you need, if you don't buy it here you can just keep your eye out for it again - however let me tell you - it is expensive treating mites so where ever you go your going to have to spend quite a bit!!
