Arzu & PVC

I just got my new piggy today(Arzu) and I was wondering if i could make tunnels for him out of PVC... Or should I just stick to cardboard? Also what sould I connect the tunnels out of if I want to make them longer? (I heard tape wasn't good for them..)

PVC is fine to use for little houses but I wouldn't suggest taping them together. If the pig gets way inside and you need to get him out you would be unable to do so. Most home supply centers carry PVC connectors and the best to use are the ones made for plumbing/sewer lines that are at least 4 in in diameter. They come in straight, curved or Y shaped. I use them for my pigs and they love them. They're also easy to clean and sanitize. The pigs will lay in them without moving and go potty right where they are, so for that reason as well, you want them where you can reach into the inside for cleaning.
