Guinea pig travel

Question
Hi my guinea pig Smokey is 4.5 years old and I first got him in the United States. Then after a year we moved to a different country and had to take him on a plane. Our vet said it would be ok to take him. But when we got off the plane he was in shock and was like that for almost an hour. Now we're going back to the United States and I cant leave him here. So I was wondering if it would be ok to take him on the plane again even if he's a little older and can I guarantee that he'll live. We're also taking our cat, but in a different cage. Please let me know what you think soon.

Thank you.

Answer
Isra,
I don't know much about guinea pigs on a plane as I have not tried it before, I do know that he's in shock because of sudden air pressure and everything seems different, you can bring him to the vet once your in the U.S. again to make sure he's healthy.
