gunie pig ear

Hi I noticed today the the inside of our gunie pigs ear looks to have a scab or fungus looking things in both ears,is this sominthing thats been there and I never noticed or do you know of a web site I could view what a normal ear would look like?Thanks for any help,J.B.

Hi Joanna,
Your guinea pig(s) needs to see a veterinarian. There isn't a picture that I can give you that will be of any help that I know of, and even if there were, I would still recommend that you take the guinea pig(s) to the vet. It could either be ear mites, or an ear infection. Either way, they both need antibiotics and treatment from a vet in order to heal.
I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help, but this is one of those times where a vet is needed.
