Question
My guinea pig, Rose, i think has heatstroke. she is lying on her belly and moving around, but can't seem to get up. I left her in the hutch for a couple of hours when it was blazing hot, and I'm not sure what to do. If you can, please answer quickly!

Answer
Answer
Hello, it does sound like a heat stroke. she needs liquids inside of her and fast. Get some milk and water and see if you have anything to pour it down her throat, like a needle syringe or something. You will need to force feed her the milk and also give her some water and you will have to put it down her throat. The syringe is better b/c you know she's getting water and the milk. Bathe your guinea pig in cold water as well. Without a veternarians help there is really very little that can be done besides the advice that I give you. If you are able to seek a vet as soon as you can.
Hope this helps
