Question
hi ive got 2 guinea pigs which are 9 weeks old and only had them for a week eating fine and drinking ok both males but when they are doing the toilet its a cream colour is this right ?

Answer
Hello Sarah!
Hmm...
How odd.
Poo poos are (unfortnatly) somehing us GP owners must pay close attention to. Moist poo means more hay and less pellets, chalky poo means more water and less hay, green poo means less vegetables and more pellets and no poo at all means the vets. Poo should typiccally be firm when dry and not break apart unless you break it in half. Check this, and if they seem fine and the GPs are normal, dont worry too much. Be on close watch though, if anything changes (eating less, more or less pooping, clumping poos, diarreah ect.) call a vet and book an appointment for the most ailing piggy.
