guinea pigs and or gerbis

im going away for 2 and a half weeks over the summer and ive been looking on craigslist for pets should i get a gerbil or a guinea pig before i go?

It really is up to you i dont no much about gerbils but they are similar
I would go for the guinea Pig
Do you have anyone to look after them?

The only thing is if you are going somewhere hot then guinea Pigs do not take the heat
