Weird thing on my hampster

Hey,
I don't know much about hampsters yet, so heres the situation:
My hampster(Captain Jack) got out of his cage this morning and i finally found him tonight. I then noticed a weird bump on his butt, and i was wondering what this was. Any ideas?

From what you said, and the location of the 'bump' on Captain Jack..
