Keeping Teddy Bear hamsters together

Question
I read one of the post which said that Teddy Bear Hamsters shouldn't be allowed to be together, but I have two of them and they get along just fine. Sometimes they fight but that is rare and they haven't fought in a while. I know this is a kind of stupid question but why are they getting along so well? I mean, they never fight anymore or anything.

Answer
It all depends how long you have had them and what kind of cage you have. I would never recomend syrians be kept together, no matter how tame they act to one another. They might still be young, and when they get older they might begin to fight more. If you have a large cage they might just be staking claims to certain areas of the cage and not having territorial issues that lead to fighting. Still, if you havent had them for over a year, I wouldn't say its safe to think they will never fight again. This is extremely rare so consider yourself lucky.
