Rectal Prolapse? Diarrhoea?

Question
i've had my hamster for about two weeks now and when i went to get her, i was originally going to get a male, but the man said they all had wet tail. The females he said were fine, they were kept in a seperate section.

She hasn't been comming out as often as she used to, only to drink water and get food. She sleeps most of the time, and just today i noticed when she came out, something on her bum. she didn't want to be taken out, but it looks like her tail is more visible, (seems longer)i don't know if the fur around there is comming off.. and there seems to be something comming out of her bum.. dark colored? and the woodshaving are stiking to it. She also makes funny noises with her teeth. She smells pretty bad, and i looked up some hamster sicknesses and diseases,(Rectal Prolapse? Diarrhoea?) but im no expert on this because my previous hamster was perfectly healthy, died after 3 years.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Answer
oh dear, it sounds like she has wettail as well. The best thing to do is to take her to a vet as soon as possible. That's the best thing to do as wettail can kill really fast and the sooner it's treated the better the chances of the hamster surviving.
