Question
My serian hamster is going to have babies in a couple of days and i want to know what to feed her for protein?    I have a noisy family where do you think the best place to put the hamsters?    Is it ok to touch the baby hamsters when they are 15 days old?

please send me as soon as possible

Answer
heya,
most hamster mixes have protein in them, so if shes got her normal food thats good, you can also give her nuts, and small amounts of cheese, not too much becuase it is fattening...but she will love it.
you should put the hamster where ever it is quietest, although it shouldn't matter too much if your hamster is used to the noise anyway, just make sure she is undisturbed by hands and suchlike.
Its ok to touch the babies from that time, but not before, its usually best to wait til thier eyes are open, but by then the cage is smelly, so 15 days is a good time.make sure you handle them regularly after that!
