Gerbles just had eight babies

Question
I have a male gerble and female gerble.  She just had eight babies.  I think I bought the female pregnant already.  Will the male eat the young babies being that they arent his? Will the female take care of her young by herself?  Should I remove the male from the mother and young?

Hi,

The chancs are your female will be pregnant again now, as they mate straight after the birth!! So take the male out to prevent her having more, if you leave him in you will kill her from exhaustion of consistently having babies!

The male won't eat the babies, although the female is able to take care of the babies completly by herself, makesure you don't interfere for the first two weeks, otherwise she may eat them!!
