How many times should you clean the cage?

Depending on the size of the cage. If you use a standard 10 gallon tank I would change it every 2 weeks. If its larger than it could go a little longer without changes. My 55 gallon tank I changed monthly.

It also depends on if your water bottle leaks, then it should be immediately. I used corn cob bedding which was very good, doesn't cause upper respiratory infections like cedar or pine and was not dusty like many other types.

Good rule of thumb is about every 2 weeks, if your cage is smaller then more frequently.
