Question
Hi again!I have asked u a question about my hamster biting me before.U said that i should use gloves and not cup to take them out...but my hamster bite the gloves and pull it, but he does not want to get out.

Answer
I would suggest you keep trying with the gloves. If he bit through the gloves, try getting a pair a bit thicker.

Since he is not used to human contact, he isn't going to want to come out willingly on his own. He's scared, and doesn't trust what will happen to him if he comes out. Using the cup method will scare him even more because all he see's is this big round thing coming at him, scooping him up, and pulling him out of his home. That will definitely traumatize him.

If you find that using gloves isn't working, grab a wash cloth, reach in, and gently grab him with that. That way he will be wrapped in the wash cloth, and your hands will be protected from his teeth. Make sure not to cover his face so that he's able to breathe okay. Just wrap it around his body so that you are able to gently pet his head.

Good luck!
