My hamster keeps storing his food in the same place that he urinates- is this safe because he may eat it afterwards.

Hi Georgina,

    No, I do not believe this is safe for your hamster. It could make them sick. A hamsters food dish (and water bottle) should be clean everyday. Also, any food they have hoarded from the day before, should be cleaned out.
