Pine Bedding

Question
I have read that pine bedding is not good, but how do I see if he/she is sick (he/she isn't tamed)?

Answer
Really with pine or ceder bedding it's what you don't see that's the real problem. Pine bedding is known to cause respiratory and liver disease in rodents as well as allergies. Check their eyes and nose to make sure their eyes are clear and bright and their nose is clean. If you hear wheezing or notice constant sneezing, they are having bad allergies. Aspen bedding is the best bedding if you want wood shaving. Carefresh and soft sorbent bedding are awesome as well!
