My golden hamsters eye

My hamster likes to go inside the couch. One day, my hamster's right eye was a bit bloody and it couldn't open its eye. After 3 days later, its eye was a bit whitish as if it was going blind. Help needed!

Hamsters do often injure their eyes as they are so prominent.  It could be that something caught his eye and has caused either temporary or permanent damage.  They can go blind, but this isn't too serious in that hamsters are very shortsighted anyway, so they depend on their sense of smell rather than sight.  The main thing though is to find out whether your hamster is in pain.  Is it possible for you to get your hamster to a vet?  If the damage to the eye is temporary, they may be able to prescribe eye drops to help the eye heal.
