Hi Katrina,

The babies should stay with their mother for 3 weeks.  Once they are 3 weeks old, they are fully weaned.  At that time, you should separate the boys from the girls - put the girls in one cage and the boys in another cage.

When the babies are 6 weeks old, then you can give them away.  Remember to give them away in same-sex pairs, since Dwarves are very social animals.
