Gerbil has lump

My gerbil has a pinkish red lump on his nose. He is 2 years old and, he doesn't and never has lived with another gerbil.

he could be having some typr of nasal infection. If it gets any worse then i'd contact a vet. Is he breathing ok and drinking normally otherwise? If so it's probably a nasal infection which is common. You can put some neosporin if the bump burst. Keep me updated on how things go.
