hamster seperation.

My Winter whites dwarves have just given birth. the male is taking a active role in rearing the pups. i was wanting to separate them at 3 weeks. i was wondering if the male could be placed in a large cage wiv the male pups and the female with the females pups. i have been told and read many contradicting ideas, and would just like for it to be madeclear. many thanks.

Hi Rhian,

It is fine to put the male pups with the father, but you may have to put all of the females in a cage without the mother becuase she might be pregnant again already if the father was present at the birth of the current pups.
