Lots of sleeping...

My pregnany Syrian hamster, Hammy, is about 13 days pregnant today, and all she's been doing is sleeping. I mean, not like normally, and coming out at night, she rarely comes out of her nest AT ALL. Her nest is alot bigger and I know regnant hamsters do that, but she's just been sleeping so much it's starting to worry me a bit.
I can also tell she's still alove because when I ta the side she'll move around a bit, but she hardly even comes out for food.

Please let me know if this is normal!

Hi Missy,

this sounds like normal behaviour.

She will get more tired and sleep for longer if she is pregnant.

Just make sure the room she is in isnot too cold - you definately dont want her going into hibernation!

She is probably still coming out when you are asleep so i wouldnt worry about it too much.
