stroke? stiff legs?

Question
Our winter white (almost 2 years old) is walking with all four stiff legs and seems disoriented.  It is eating and drinking.  When cleaning the cage today I found a black (not furry and with no markings) spider in the CareFresh bedding of the cage.  I cleaned the cage and put fresh bedding, water and food.  I am not sure if the stiff legs and disorientation is from a stroke or a spider bite? We do have a new kitten that likes to sit on or near the cage and I wonder if perhaps it scared the hamster?  Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
It sounds like he's not feeling well.  It could be anything from a reaction to a bite from the spider, to dehydration, to an infection of some type, to him just being creeped out by the spider.  The kitten may also be making him move more cautiously but it shouldn't be making him disoriented.  If it continues for more than a day or so I'd take him to the vet to be checked over for any infection, etc.
