2 week old gerbil

I have this gerbil and its mother has died, it has fur but its eyes have not opened yet, i am desperate to keep it alive what do i feed and do to keep it alive ????

Hello the best thing to do is to buy some KMR (kitten meal replacement)or half pedialyte and half water and give them a few drops of that like one or two drops every hour. At the age of three weeks you can start putting solid food in the cage and start weaning them off mom's milk by maybe giving a drop or so every other hour to 3 hours. At four weeks he should be off the replacement milk.
