My Dwarf Hamsters

Ok,my two dwarf hamsters are twins and one of them is in some pain because my other one keeps on biting him and i dont really want to take him to the vet,and my parents said they wont take him.So if i cant help him then i have to let him die,and i really dont want Bibbles to die.So what do you think i should do...?please help Bibbles..

Hi Stephanie,

First of all, you should never buy a pet without making sure you have the time and money to take it to vet if it needs to!!  It is vey cruel to just let him die because your parents cant be bothered to take him to the vet!!

When you are keeping two dwarf hamsters together, you should always check the each day and watch them to make sure they are not fighting.  If you see them fighting or you see one of them with a cut or bleeding then you must split them up as soon as possible!!

Please separate them now and keep them in separate cages from now on!  Your hamsters will only get worse now that they have started to hurt each other - you will end up with one of them dead if you dont split them up now!
