how to breed hamsters

i just bought a male and female hamster i want to breed them but what should i do with the hamster before i put them together like if they have to be tamed to me and other and is their certain stuff i have to do with the male or female before put them together

What type of hamsters are these?  Are they Syrian or dwarf?  How old are they?  Ideally a female should be around 4-6 months old before she is mated.

It would make sense to get them both tame, especially the female, before mating as she will be much more relaxed with a litter.
