My baby dawrf hampster

I have a 2 week old baby dwarf hamster. He has one eye shut and one eye open. As i was looking at his eye trying to figure out what is wrong with it and freaking out. there was white stuff and i don't know what i should do, and wonder if he even has an eye. help me please ASAP!

   I'm sorry it took me so long to answer. If your hamsters eyes hasn't opened by three weeks heres what i suggest. At three weeks you can hold your new hamster for short amounts of time. Take a q-tip and dip it in warm(not hot) water, you'll have to make sure that it is just warm, since a babies skin is so sensitive. The end with the water on it and very gently grush it over the hamsters eye. If his eye doesn't open then re-consult me.
