Cloudy Eyes

Question
I have a teddy bear hamster, he is about 2 years old. I know that that is old for a hamster, but my hamsters, in the past, have had a pretty long life expectance, about 4 years. Anyway Peanut (my hamster) has whitish/bluish spots in his eyes. I read somewhere that it helps if you put saline drops in their eyes, but that hasn't seemed to work. What do you think I should do?

Answer
It could be anything including allergy's, cataracts, and eye infections there is no way to diagnose it over the internet take Peanut to a qualified veterinarian (many are not good with pocket pets). Allergy's and eye infections are treated fairly easily cataracts are a lot harder though very rare if its an eye infection Peanut may die from it so have it checked out ASAP.
