how to train a gerbil

How do you train a gerbil?Is it even possible to train a gerbil?Do I need to buy supplies for it?Please help me.

Hi,

What would you like to train it to do? I don't think you can train them to do tricks as such, but they can learn certain things, such as the noise of a packet if you are going to give them a treat!!!
They would much prefer to do what they want to do and don't have a bond with humans like rodents such as rats do and so this makes it much harder to teach them anything!!
