Teddy bear hamster pups

My mother hamster trusts me a lot she lets me hold the runt(1 week old) of the litter and takes it back w/o a problem! Is this a bad thing?

you probably shouldnt be handling the pups, but if shes accepting it after you have then no, its not a bad thing, just make sure you keep an eye on the pup after you've put them back in the cage, well done for having such a trusting hamster.
