My daughters Hamster

Hi there,
My 8 year old daughter has a Siberian Dwarf hamster called Honey. She is generally fit and well and very alert. However she seems to have developed a small wart or stye on one of her eyelids. Any thoughts? Thanks

Is this wart growing?  Are there any other's on her body?  Apart from this, is she fine in herself - eating/drinking/playing normally?

Hamsters do injure themselves from time to time and this can infect, or they can develop tumor like growths.  If it is a tumor, then it will grow (often quite rapidly).  If it is an infection, then you are likely to see pus or similar.  I would suggest monitoring the situation - see if there are any changes in it or if it grows - if so, then a vet would need to examine this and prescribe the necessary medication to treat it.
