Evergreen Branches as chew toys

Hello I just got a new hamster the other day and since I am taking down my (live) Christmas tree I was wondering if they would be good chew toys for my hamster,Snowy.

Hi Aaron, i dont think this type of wood would be good for snowy, no. it is best to stick to the branches of fruit trees for chew toys for hamsters as they are non toxic as long as they haven't been sprayed with pesticides. see if anyone you know has an apple or pear tree in their garden and ask if you could have a cutting but steer clear of the Xmas tree!! hope this helps, Jen
