Big pink bump?

Hi jen,
  my sister has a male Russian dwarf hamster. We recently noticed a pink bump under one of his nostrils. We don't know what happened. I checked on another website and it said it might be cancer? We only noticed this a few days ago. He acts normal and everything. What should we do?
