my ferret has gotten him self in to a situation he was in his home and his leg got caught in am opening in his plastic tunnel and he was rolling around i got him out he seemed to be a little dazed and then was fine but he has a limp and his leg looks kinda funny he isn't in any pain and he is starting to put more and more weight on it but he has a cut by his toe nail that was bleeding it isnt ne more though i really don't want to  go  to the vet  for something that isn't hurting him what do you think?

Answer
Ferrets are such little curiousity animals.  I've had one get his whole body caught in a wire cage.  We had to cut the cage open and put some cooking oil on my ferret to get him out.

I wouldn't worry about your little ones leg.  Just watch for anymore swelling.  It will probably go down in a couple of days or sooner.  The cut by his toe should heal up good.  You could put a little neosporin ointment on it and try to keep it clean.  Even if your little one broke a bone as long as he isn't hurting and can walk it should heal.  I have a ferret with a healed broker toe that happened before I got him and he's fine.
