keeping a ferret cool?

Dear Ailigh,

I was wodering how I can keep my ferret cool in hot weather also someone told me wet cat food is ok but I dont think its ok is it?

Answer
Keep them inside and make sure there is AC or a fan.  If not, try the basement.  If all else fails, place ice in a jar or freeze a bottle of water and wrap in a towel or bedding and place in the cage.  I assume you mean is wet cat food OK to feed a ferret?  No it isn't.
