Is it enough space?

I have the super pet multi-floor Ferret Home from petco(the green and purple one) I have two ferrets in there now, I was considering getting another addition to my ferret family and was wondering if I should get a bigger cage or if I have enough room in the cage I have now. Thank you.

I used to have that cage and found when I had  more than 2 ferrets in it the cage became somewhat unstable the shelves started sagging heavily and eventually the clips that held them on broke when all 3 were on the same shelf. This is just my own experience and a few other ferret owners.

Bigger is always better when it comes to ferrets. So I say if you can afford it I would go ahead and get a larger cage and you can always use the current one if you have to separate or one gets sick or something.

It also depends on how much out of cage time they get. If it is less than 4 hours daily then it would definitely be in their best interest to get a larger cage.
