Question
QUESTION: 1)4 Months
2 Not Known
3)Dried ferret food
4)Brown
5)A two tier cage

Hi,

When our ferrets first wake up they drag their back legs for about 3 Minutes before they get feeling in them. This has happened since birth. Then they are fine. It happens to both our ferrets who are from the same litter. Is this normal?

Thanks Arwen

ANSWER: Hi Arwen,

This may make me seem silly, but did you ask a question just yesterday or two days ago? If you did, how is your little one's cut healing? If not, well, I just made a fool of myself, didn't I? Ha ha.

Anyway, our kids do that too, sometimes. I think it is just them stretching when they wake up. We're sure our kids are just fine as they just had a check up a few weeks ago. So, nothing to worry about. If you are bothered by it, talk to your vet, but our kids do it too, sometimes, and they are just fine.

If you ever have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Sincerely,
Emilee Andrews
