my ferrett is sick

my ferrett is very sick he usually plays around and is very playful.  now all he does is lay around, his poop is not solid and he only eats a little but he drinks. what do i do?   FROM SOMEONE DESPERATE!

How old is your ferret?  He could have ECE.  Is his poop green?  Get some baby food "chicken" and heat it up a little and put some on your finger and offer it to him.  He should eat it on his own.  Be sure he is drinking as if he isn't dehydration can kill them fast so make sure he gets lots of water even if you have to use a dropper.  You can pull up the skin on the back of his neck, if it sticks up, he's dehydrated. Let me know.
