Ferret Ear

Hi. I have a male and a female ferret both fixed and are 4 months old. The male loves to lick and bite the females ear. I wanted to know if you can tell me a little about this if you can. I asked this to somebody else but the said it puzzles them.Thx,Giana

I am guessing they were pet store ferrets?  If so, they are usually shipped quite young which means they are removed from their mom and litter young.  This type of behavior is left over from litter behavior.  Kits tend to chew, lick and bite each other all the time and he is probably just doing something from his "childhood".  I wouldn't worry about it especially since your female doesn't seem too upset by it either.
