poop confusion

okay so if my fuzzbutt has one diarrhea poop today but his yesterday and this morning poops were fine should i be concerned? if it were diarrhea i'd wait and see if he does more diarrhea before freaking. but it was yellow/gold. no "grainy look". he's active, eats, not dehydrated. no watery eyes. i'm wondering if maybe it's ece but the poop is the only symptom he has. i gave him powerade zero in a smaller bottle and a dish of chicken baby food. his food is yellow normally, like when it expands in water. he eats 8 in 1 ultimate. could i just be going crazy for nothing? i tend to be a poop watcher...

Ece is not very common anymore especially if the ferret is a Marshall Farms ferret.  Once case of diarrhea is generally nothing to worry about as long as he is healthy other wise and up to date on his annual vet check and vaccinations.  8 in 1 isn't the best food for a ferret and they maybe playing with his digestive system, generally I recommend Totally Ferrets Venison formula or Natural Gold as they are a good quality food and low in carbs.
