Ferrets enclosure - converting an aviary

Question
Hi, i have 2 ferrets. I want to convert an aviary into an enclosure for them to be in outside.
I want some sort of hutch design at the back of the aviary (out of the reach of the rain). And that way it is safer for them (no falling from high up, etc).Ive drawn a pic of what i have in mind (not a good one, lol)http://i536.photobucket.com/albums/ff326/marzncody/100_0198.jpg
I was wondering which would be best for building it - i thought of wire/wood and covering with lino.
Any other tips would be great

Answer
I don't know anything about cage making, but I can tell you it's not a good idea to have your ferrets outside. Depending on where you live, there can be too great of temperature fluctuations. Your ferrets will die if they become too cold or too hot. Also, ferrets are very social animals, and they could become very lonely and depressed without regular human interaction. Ferrets are not rabbits you can leave outside in a cage all day. Sorry I cannot help you.
