Questions about ferrets!

Can Ferrets eat canned cat foods?
Can they eat wet fruit? and what kind?
What kind of meat treats can they eat?
What can I do to keep them from bitting my toes?
How can we get them used to water?
And if there coughing and sneezing what can I give him to help?
How is the best way to litter train them?
And if they have a runny nose, I guess they may have a cold, or is it natural for them to have a wet nose?

Thats a lot of questions!  My first suggestion is to purchase Ferrets for Dummies.  Great book for all ferret people!  Most important answers for you in case you have a ferret right now.  Ferrets are Obligate Carnivores which means meat and meat only.  No fruit or veggies!  Ferrets also need a specialized diet and you should get a high quality, high protein, lo carb ferret kibble.
They should drink from a bottle or ceramic dish without your help.  If they are coughing and sneezing a lot - get to a ferret knowledgeable vet.  Same advise for a runny nose - they have damp noses, a runny nose might be a cold and needs medical attention.
The rest require detailed information about litter training and understanding ferret behavior in general to help with the toe biting.  Please, get the book and it will help you an endless amount.
