Adding a new ferret

Hello

I just got my first ferret, she is a chocolate female sable and only seven weeks old.:D  I am getting her friend next week from the same pet-store and maybe even from the same litter, I wanted to know if they would get along since they will either both be seven weeks or the new one will be a month older. Would I need to put the new one in a different cage when I get him? They are from a reliable pet-store and I havn't seen a sick one there yet.

They should get along fine since your ferret has not yet really adjusted to being alone.  You might have a scuffle or two.  I would get an extra cage for a "just in case" situation.  That way if they don't get along, you will have a cage and if they do, you can most likely take the cage back and get your money back.
