ferret fur and color change

Question
I have a ferret that I got that was abused. She is about a year old and had black body with white head. She grew fast and her sister was pure white. I got a baby that played well with them. The six month old grew to be bigger then bobo. Now Bobo is very skinny and her fur has gone salt and pepper. She is happy and plays bit with my feet and I have seen her poop. I also started feeding her the vit food by placing a little of it in the front of her mouth and she likes it up. I repeat this to make sure that i know that she ate something. I also make sure that it does not go to deep to get into her lungs to prevent infection. I also she has no pain in the GI by feel. She does not seem to have a area that she will not allow me to touch. She will run and play as much as I allow her. She has a good jumping hieght and distance. Her walk is good, no indication of broken bones or muscle issue to my knowledge. the strange thing is the color change. Snowflake, the white one has gotten skinner, but her fur has not changed anyway. The new baby is good every way and fat. So i started to feed Bobo without the other two to keep her fat up but the color is not improving. Everything else is good. What am I missing.

Answer
Hi Moses,

I'm not completely sure I understand. I think you're asking if Bobo's color change is a bad thing? If that is your question, then the answer is no.

Ferret fur changes color. When our oldest was a kit, she was all brown, classic champagne, and now her guard hairs have turned black. Fur changes color! It isn't your fault. That just happens.

If this isn't your question, then could you please clarify for me? Thank you so much.

Sincerely,
