Ferret & Dog

We have a ferret who is around 2 years old.  Recently we purchased a puppy and since we did the ferret has become really mean.  She is bitting us intentionally, very hard and treating the puppy so mean that the pup is afraid of her.  What should I do

Are you allowing the puppy and ferret to play together?  If so, the ferret may be too much for the puppy to handle right now as ferret play rough.  Since ferrets like to play, it is usually better that they play with another ferret.  Keep the puppy separate from the ferret, especially since someone could end up really hurt.
