Hello

I will be making a cage for my ferrets later this year and was wondering if a cage four feet tall, four feet long and two feet wide with two floors would be good for three/four ferrets?
Answer -
I would say it would be good for about two ferrets.  This is just my opinion.  I like for my ferrets to have plenty of room and to not be crowded.

Hello

I was wondering if you had any ideas what I could use to make the different levels that wouldn't get soked with urine? Also what could I use to connect the two levels together? Can ferrets climb stright up those ferret tubes sold at pet-stores? maybe I could use those.

Thanks

Answer
I would try a colorplast for the levels.  You could easily remove it and wipe it clean.  The ferret tubes might be nice to use for them to get to each level but I would not make them go straight up them.  I would come up with a way so that it is slanted.  Much like the ladders you see in the cages you purchase from stores.
