New baby ferret?

Question
Just a couple real quick questions: after much research we purchased a 2 month old little boy that the kids name slinky.  When the kids plan with him 99% of the time he is very nice and only nips while playing, when my husband or I hold him he tends to get more mouthy and bites a little harder.  Do ferrets tend to have a favorite family member?  I notice that no matter how many times I tell him no and hold him by the scruff of his neck he comes back for more, but he stops biting my husband after one discipline, is he playing favorite?  And the final question, could he just be tired/hungry/or have to use the litter box and that is why he gets nippy?  We, by that I mean the boys, have him out for 1 hour in the morning before school and 3-5 hours in the evening.  Is there anything I am not doing that I can do to help get thru this stage, because I know he will, and I already love having him as part of the family?

Answer
They don't usually have favorites, but they often (like any animal or child) know who lets them get away with more.  What does your husband do when he nips?  Also, he is a baby and like any baby they get nippy when they teeth - be patient with him as most ferrets grow out of this stage.
