hey.i bought my lil fuzzy on the 20th of may..and he was skinny back then but noe he is happy at has put on allot of wieght.his been war dancing each time i take him out of his cage and play. theres just one thing when he bites me he bites me hard and i heard that when he bites hard,scruff him until hes calmes down and put him back.that doesn't seem to work.he is about 3mnths old.what should i do to make this stop?thank you

Baby ferrets usually bite because they are teething and it hurts them. Also they just don't know any better. Continue to scruff him  and say NO and give him time outs in his cage. Also try putting Bitter Apple spray on your hands when you handle him. Try not to be afraid of his teeth and try to handle him as often as possible. I have found that baby ferrets eventually grow out of biting, it just takes some time and patience.
