Traning a ferret

Whats the best way to train a ferret to use the box and not go near it? How do you get a ferret to be shoulder trained?

Place the ferrets poop in its litter box once it has done its bussiness..soak up pee with paper and blot it in the litter pan, make sure tha pan isnt in the ferrets play area/bed area or need its feeding/watering area. just keep doing this after a day or two the ferret should learn that this is his littering area. To shoulder train a ferret simply start with this: sit on teh floor place your ferret on your shoulder, let it get its balance along your neck  seems to be a good blancing place, if he falls of say no and try again when he can stay on for even 20 second without fallign off prase him give hima tiny treats gradually he should build up time to 30/60 seconds and 2/3 minutes adn so forth just be sure to corret the ferret when he falls off and reward when he stands blanced on your shoulder, some people get them to sit in there hood of a sweater or coat as well with teh same basics.
